The consortium of Young Water professionals - Indonesia @Work (YWP-ID@Work) organized a seminar at the 14th of December 2015. The theme of the seminar was about talent management within the organization of Public Works in Jakarta. This Master Class for Developing Young Water Professionals, as part of the YWP-ID@Work, aimed to implement the experience of the YWP-ID@Work programme on HRD strategies and Talent Management into the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).

During the seminar, many discussions and work-related activities took place on recruitment, selection and the managing of talented employees. About thirty persons involved in the HRM and various departments of Public Works attended the workshop.

World Water Academy presented some of the best examples of talent management in the Dutch water sector. WWA investigated some programmes for talent and focused on Rijkswaterstaat, part of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment; sector-wide programmes like the National Water traineeship; Young Expert Programme and Dutch Water Authorities.

The consortium of YWP-ID @Work consists of MDF, Deltares and World Water Academy and is funded by RVO.
