The Indonesian participants of the Master Class Young Water Professionals, part of the ID-YWP@Work project, will be awarded in the week of 19th of October. The participants, being 15 Young Water Professionals, attended the Master Class to improve their management skills in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. The Master Class consisted of various modules delivered between October 2014 and October 2015. The topics were: Water Management Systems in Present and Future, Stakeholder Engagement, Intervention Strategies, Project Management and Leadership
The special awarding ceremony will be held in Jakarta and moderated by Pak Arie (Research & Development). The ceremony will be attended by Pak Agus (Director Water Management, Public Works) and Mr. Simon Warmerdam (Representative of the Dutch Water Sector in Indonesia).
After this ceremony the partners will evaluate the project and point out how the dissemination of the project and lessons-learned can be implemented.
Apart from the training for the YWP, the project also conducted a training for the mentors in Bogor, attended by 8 mentors. The training was meant to fine tune the perception of the mentors on mentorship and provided them with the tools to conduct it effectively.
World Water Academy (WWA) initiated the consortium of the ID-YWP@Work project. With consortium partners MDF and Deltares, WWA executed this project over the past 1,5 years.
