The second meeting of the Erasmus+ AquaVET project was held at the London offices of SummitSkills last May. SummitSkills is the standard Setting Organisation for building services engineering in the United Kingdom. The AquaVET project partners gathered from Greece, the Netherlands and Spain and the UK to review progress so far and to ensure that future plans are in place to deliver the outcomes of the project.
The first phase of the project has been completed with the production of a report (produced by Confederacion Nacional de Asociaciones de Instaladores y Fluidos (CONAIF), our Spanish partner) on research into the skills needs of water technicians and the availability of training provision to meet those needs in the four participating countries. The report can be downloaded here. The second phase is complete with SummitSkills developing the learning aims and units arising from the report. Based on the learning outcomes, World Water Academy will lead the next phase: development of the learning material.
